The Celebration of the Female Form 2016
Exhibition 3rd– 5th June 2016
Brisbane Table Tennis Centre, 86 Green Tce Windsor.
For our fourth annual event we have chosen to raise money for The Brisbane Domestic Violence Service, and
Rosies – Friends on the Street, who provide services for the homeless in Brisbane.
We will be exhibiting 75 artists. You are not chosen on your level of artistic ability. We provide a platform for amateur, emerging and professional artists. The exhibition is a celebration of your connection to the female form expressed through art and to raise money to help others in our community. This is not an art competition.
Please remember we are celebrating all types of the female form not just the mainstream glossy mag covers. You can express the beauty and the dark side of our emotions, our varying body types and our sexuality. It is what makes us who we are.
I am looking for painters, photographers, sculptors, installations, textiles, pottery, mixed media, digital art and the unusual.
This year you have two choices and you can arrange however many pieces you like within your space. Make sure you leave some space between your pieces- artists hang their own work unless pre-arranged.
a) half a panel $80 (1.8m high x 1.6m long)
b) full panel $150 (1.8m high by 3.3m long)
Sculptors, installation artists, potters – you are to provide your own plinths or tables are available.
$80 for 5 pieces or $150 for up to 10 pieces.
There is a 10% commission on sales to cover eftpos costs and merchant fees.
Interstate and international artist you can send your work to me one week before the event.
Panels will be set in order of artist number which you will receive when you have paid your exhibit fee I will send your receipt number/artist number and submission form when payment has been confirmed.
There are NO REFUNDS ON EXHIBIT FEE, it will be donated to the chosen charities
